House Rules

​

Music & Quiet Hours

Please be considerate of our neighbours. Due to the hillside location, music, especially bass, can travel over a considerable distance.

​

Music is permitted inside the villa. In the evening, please keep the volume at a reasonable level and reduce the bass.

​

When using the sound system in the fitness room, please keep the window closed in the evening.

Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. After this time, music must be kept at room volume with reduced bass.

 

Smoking

No smoking inside the house. Smoking is permitted outdoors.

No fireworks, firecrackers or open flames outdoors.

NATURAL POOL – BIO ZONE
No Swimming

Whirlpool

Please shower before use.

Maximum 6 guests.

Always close the cover after use.

​

Parking

Please use only the designated parking spaces at the house.

​

Visitors

No parties or unregistered visitors.

​

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

​

Events

Events are not permitted.

​

Tidiness

Please treat the house with care and leave it tidy.

Personal Welcome & Check-in from 2:00 PM

I will personally welcome you at Villa Tauris upon your arrival.

​

You will then receive a brief introduction to the villa.

​

Afterwards, the legally required registration forms of the Canton of  Nidwalden will be completed and the keys handed over. One registration form is required per family. Guests who are not members of the same family must each complete a separate registration form. Please have a passport or ID available for all guests.

​

Please let me know your approximate arrival time one day before your arrival and again approximately 1 hour before arrival via WhatsApp.

Parking

Please use only the designated parking spaces directly at Villa Tauris.

Parking is free for our guests. The parking and entrance areas are under video surveillance.

Check-out by 11:00 AM

Personal Check-out & Key Handover

​

We will meet directly at the villa at the agreed check-out time. After a brief handover, please return the keys personally to your host.

​

Check-out no later than 11:00 AM.

​

Before departure, please:

  • Load the dishes into the dishwasher and start it.

  • Gather used towels.

  • Take all personal belongings and remove any remaining food and drinks.

  • Dispose of waste at the Egg collection point in Emmetten.

  • Fully retract both awnings.

  • Close and secure the hot tub cover.

  • Turn off the lights and close all windows.

Safety Information

Defibrillator (AED) – Your Safety

​

An automated external defibrillator (AED – ZOLL AED Plus) is located in the entrance area of Villa Tauris.
The device is freely accessible at all times and designed for use by non-professionals.
Clear voice instructions guide users step by step in case of an emergency.

Pool / Natural Swimming Pond & Whirlpool

​

Please note that the natural swimming pond and whirlpool are not fenced or locked.

​

Guests have access to an unsecured pool and whirlpool area.
Children must always be supervised by an adult.

​

The panorama natural swimming pond and whirlpool have direct access from the terrace, living room, dining area and balcony without barriers.

​

Some outdoor areas are elevated and do not have railings or protective barriers.

​

​

Safety Equipment

• Outdoor security cameras are installed.
The cameras at the parking entrance and terrace are deactivated during guest stays.

​

• Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are installed in:
– Entrance area
– Living and dining room
– Upper floor hallway

Property Information

​

Guests must use stairs within the villa.

There are staircases from the entrance to the main living area and from the living area to the upper sleeping area.
The stairs are equipped with handrails and child safety protection.
