House Rules
We are delighted to welcome you to Villa Tauris.
To ensure that all guests enjoy a comfortable stay and the peaceful surroundings are preserved, we kindly ask you to observe the following house rules.
• Quiet hours: Please respect quiet hours, especially in outdoor areas.
• Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Smoking outdoors is allowed – please use ashtrays.
• Fireworks / open fires: Fireworks and open fires are not permitted.
• Pool / Natural swimming pond: Use at your own responsibility. Children must always be supervised by an adult.
Whirlpool – Important information
• Please shower before use.
• No glass bottles in the whirlpool area.
• Maximum 6 persons at a time.
• Always close the cover after use.
• No oils, bath additives or food in the whirlpool.
• Children only under adult supervision.
• Please do not change the temperature.
• Alcohol only in moderation.
The whirlpool is reserved exclusively for your private use – enjoy and relax.
• Parking: Please use only the designated parking spaces at the house.
• Care of the property: Please treat the house with care and leave it in a tidy condition.
• Visitors: Parties or unregistered visitors are not permitted.
• Pets are not allowed
• Events are not allowed
• Smoking, vaporizers and e-cigarettes are not permitted indoors
• Commercial photography and filming are allowed
• Maximum occupancy: 10 guests
• Maximum occupancy: 4 guests (on request up to 12 guests including sofa bed in the office)

Personal Welcome & Check-in
You will be personally welcomed at Villa Tauris upon arrival.
After completing the legally required guest registration with the Nidwalden Cantonal Police (please have your passport or ID ready for all guests), the keys will be handed over.
You will then receive a short introduction to the villa and helpful tips about the surrounding area so you can enjoy your stay from the very first moment.
Please inform us of your approximate arrival time in advance. If your plans change, we are flexible and will gladly adjust.

Personal Check-out & Key Handover
On the day of departure we will meet personally for the key handover.
Together we will take a brief walk through the villa to ensure everything is in good order and no damage has occurred.
The inspection only takes a few minutes and ensures a transparent, fair and pleasant conclusion to your stay.
Safety Information
Defibrillator (AED) – Your Safety
An automated external defibrillator (AED – ZOLL AED Plus) is located in the entrance area of Villa Tauris.
The device is freely accessible at all times and designed for use by non-professionals.
Clear voice instructions guide users step by step in case of an emergency.

Pool / Natural Swimming Pond & Whirlpool
Please note that the natural swimming pond and whirlpool are not fenced or locked.
Guests have access to an unsecured pool and whirlpool area.
Children must always be supervised by an adult.
The panorama natural swimming pond and whirlpool have direct access from the terrace, living room, dining area and balcony without barriers.
Some outdoor areas are elevated and do not have railings or protective barriers.
Safety Equipment
• Outdoor security cameras are installed.
The cameras at the parking entrance and terrace are deactivated during guest stays.
• Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are installed in:
– Entrance area
– Living and dining room
– Upper floor hallway
Property Information
Guests must use stairs within the villa.
There are staircases from the entrance to the main living area and from the living area to the upper sleeping area.
The stairs are equipped with handrails and child safety protection.
